How We Help

Literacy support helps individuals who struggle with reading, writing, and spelling. It is particularly useful for children with learning difficulties or dyslexia and adults needing literacy skill development.

What’s Involved

  • Assessment (1-2 hours): Evaluation of phonics, reading comprehension, and writing skills.
  • Structured Literacy Intervention (30-60 minutes per session): Evidence-based techniques to improve reading fluency, spelling, and comprehension.
  • Home Literacy Program: Strategies for parents and carers to reinforce skills outside of therapy.
  • Progress Reviews: Ongoing assessment and goal setting to ensure improvement.

Duration

Tailored therapy plans, typically ongoing sessions.
